How information is used

IHOS uses information for legitimate company operational purposes, including:

• Providing Chat, document, warehouse, fleet, delivery, and related workflows.
• Sending notifications a user has requested, including optional SMS notifications.
• Company-device accountability and operational dispatch.
• Authentication, security, troubleshooting, auditing, and application reliability.

Location collection

Personal devices are not tracked by IHOS. Precise device location is collected only from enrolled company-owned or company-managed devices that IHOS has configured for tracking.

On those managed devices, precise location may be collected while IHOS Mobile is in the foreground or background and may continue while the company-managed iPad is locked.

• Standard updates are normally used during configured business hours.
• Lower-power significant-location-change monitoring may be used outside business hours.
• An authorized administrator may request a temporary live-location update.
• Apple device settings, iOS, and applicable MDM policies control availability.

SMS and mobile-number privacy

SMS notifications are optional and non-marketing. IHOS does not sell mobile numbers or share mobile information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Message frequency varies based on IHOS Chat activity. Message and data rates may apply. Users may reply STOP to opt out or HELP for assistance.

Text-message originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with third parties, except service providers acting for IHOS when necessary to provide the messaging service. Those providers may use the information only to perform services for IHOS.

No advertising tracking

Location and device data are not used for advertising. IHOS does not sell this data, share it with data brokers, or use it to track users across third-party apps or websites. IHOS Mobile does not request or use Apple's advertising identifier (IDFA).

Other data sharing

Information may be accessed or disclosed only as needed by:

• Authorized IHOS personnel with an operational need.
• Contracted hosting, infrastructure, communications, or application providers acting for IHOS.
• Legal authorities when IHOS is required to provide it.
• A successor organization as part of a merger, acquisition, or other business transfer, subject to applicable law.

Storage and security

• App data is transmitted to IHOS services over HTTPS.
• Device bearer credentials are stored in the Apple Keychain.
• Backend device credentials are stored only as secure hashes.
• Administrative access is restricted, and security-sensitive actions are audited.
• IHOS uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards.

No system can guarantee absolute security.

Retention

Information is retained for as long as reasonably needed for operational, security, legal, and recordkeeping purposes. The current intended default for precise GPS history is approximately 90 days, subject to configuration and company policy.

Audit, assignment, backup, investigation, or legal records may be retained longer. Deletion from the active database may not immediately remove data from encrypted backups.

Managed and personal devices

IHOS may distribute the app to enrolled company-managed devices and may permit authorized personnel to install it on personal devices. Company-device monitoring and MDM controls apply only to managed devices. Personal devices are not enrolled or location-tracked merely because the user installs or signs in to IHOS Mobile.

Your choices and requests

Users can decline or disable optional SMS notifications in Chat settings or reply STOP to an IHOS text. Managed-device permissions may be governed by company policy and MDM settings.

Requests about access, correction, retention, or deletion should be directed to IHOS management. Certain records may need to be retained for operational, legal, or security reasons.

Children and consumer use

IHOS Mobile is not intended for children or general consumer use. It is an application for authorized IHOS personnel.

Changes to this policy

IHOS may update this policy as the application or applicable requirements change. The "Last updated" date will reflect material revisions.
